When I realised the profound talent this lady carries for documentary film making, I became more deeply interested in the creative possibilities we share. I reviewed much of her work, from Iran and from Australia and was just so impressed by her capacity to carry a story onto the screen. We are discussing the possibility of working together to create a Documentary about Human Virtues like Kindness and Gratitude. If I proceed with this project, it will only be with Mozhgan. I trust her skill, integrity and work ethic implicitly.

Mozhgan is a pretty extraordinary woman. She was one of female documentary makers in Iran and has brought the same creativity and determination to her life in Australia. Whatever she turns her hands and mind to she accomplishes. As a filmmaker she brings her passion and total commitment to the job. I recommend Mozhgan to anyone looking to include a unique female perspective to their projects.

Our family has found Mozhgan delightful to work with (and very patient and adaptive). We used the lockdown years to have her film Zoomed interviews with the nieces and nephews of our beloved elder, Chris to ask her about our memories and record her stories of our family. Mozhgan also filmed Chris guided by a great nephew for a tour revisiting the 1988 Building at Melbourne University where she went to Teachers College. Mozhgan has wonderful skills as a documentary film maker. But best of all, she has a beautiful sensitivity and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively as well. Commissioning Mozhgan to capture the stories of your elders with her (or sending your appreciation to them) is a wonderful move

Mozhgan undertook a large and very delicate project involving buy-in from numerous stakeholders. She had the task of attracting people to the project, giving up their time (Mozhgan was not known to them), culling the data so that it fitted aesthetically and emotionally, and had 'just right' amount of detail and 'just right' amount of big picture. When she takes on a project Mozhgan pursues it with great determination, and doesn't give up when the going gets tough. Her ability to work in at least two languages is impressive, as is her ability to bring in all the pieces in time, and to deliver to the client or series of clients a finished product that was very pleasing.
